inching toward
the curse of dawn
i slurp my midnight
dancing on the perimeter
of icicles and madness

star fruit bellowing
a remonstrance of sensation
barreling down
the River Oblivion

water skis
floating like leaves
on a summer breeze
above frozen campfires

     asleep at the keyboard
     i email my dreams
