Staggering has become
a dance of freedom,
arms raised I abandon myself
to the hand of God
who guides me,
and I, with no thought of destination,
move within the whim of spirits.

Hymns sung from the gutter
have overtones of humility
and thus reach the ears of the beloved
as a child's whisper.

Excellent

if i where you i would think about a slight rearrangement of the last two lines

and thus reach the ears of the beloved

as a child's whisper.

and reach as a child's whisper

to the ears of the beloved

I'm sure you could do it better, just a small plea for more balance.

so much meaning

I have seen that dance done, many times, and how do you know so much about pain.

hugs--excellent work here

I don't know your stuff, but...

Very nice write--open to multiple readings, yet grounded.

Oh the mystical insights

Offered by the spirits;

Seeing things in blurry delight

While hugging a huge piece of the universe.
