What can be said?
The shock of it all.
Overwhelmed,
By an ever-
changing set
of priorities.
I am a Marionette;
a puppet,
on a string.
I dance
for the Devil's pleasure.
My tears
are the Devil's wine.

Drink of me,
Devil.
I hope you get your fill.
For I am stronger
than you know.
And so is my son.
That Adonis;
he is a god.
The youngest immortal.

You will not have him, Devil.
Nor I,
Devil.
