the dime shop man

music needed for the high fi
brings
back cocaine flashbacks drinking
in the days

no kitchen
burnt out but
yes
ignition of the future

a thought endless
he goes on so distant
unknown
the intrigue
biting at my boots

music sounds in far away places
words pull
me in around down through
thought
differential space
was he really?
made mention of me?

perhaps crazy indeed the
defunct world drolls on
and on and on
but his shadow

lurks in the knowing places the
embers were stirred in
perfect circles.
