Hello doorway, how are you doing today?
Is your path my path, on this wonderful way?

Perhaps you'll lead me to sorrow,
Perhaps you'll lead me astray,
Perhaps you'll find me tomorrow,
Perhaps you'll find me today.

Oh doorway, why do you linger?
Oh why! Do you swing my way?
I do not wish to enter
And yes I do, delay.

For my pain still continues yonder
Until the break of day
And still my shadow will not wonder
To the path of your doorway.
