Whenever I lay my body to rest
my last thought is always of you;
while sleeping I dream of good things for us
if only my dreams could come true.

But both of us know there are some things in life
that don't seem to work like we've planned;
dreams have to end just like all things in life
like an hour glass runs out of sand.

But everyone knows that life must go on
just erase all the pain from your soul;
"the show must go on" like the actors would say
and your heart picks the lone leading role.

Thank God that at least i'm a star in my dreams
on the stage I create in my mind;
as you are the queen that sits next to me
in this kingdom I really can't find.
