357 Magnum nestled next to a one-eyed risqué peepshow viewer
Dig deeper Spits a rain shower of Schlitz across the cowardice
Colored kitchen, 'yeller', my kindergarten artwork bleeds his booze
Kool Filter Kings, full plates of food thrust above my fuzzy head
Tears from my mother, her mother, myself Red beans and rice
And Schlitz and gumbo, roast drunk with garlic, Pez dispensers
Dig deeper witches on springs with suction cup bottoms, lick em
and Stick em. This is his German whore, she whispers, painting
The picture, blue frilly dress, white t-shirt, work pants, busted
flip flops and wisdom, Merde, best looking man I have ever seen
Dig deeper VO5 slick back silver shakes and dies and no this hospital bed
Is not a garage and dying is Not a tune up Clark Gable, the war, west,
chocolate manipulation Concrete mixers, get out of the corner free cards, uncooked rice stuck like Velcro to sore Knees, and love and I cannot
remember your voice and I wish my man could be like you
and I cry because I know he is and I hate it-And Schlitz.
