Wistfully
I remember
in the quiet
in the dark
you
there
and me
extended
to the edge
of my rope
a noose
to lasso you in
keep you caught up
yet if unsuccessful
to hang myself

You are at the end of your rope

and on the edge of your seat. Ropes do not have edges.

Interesting metaphor

Very dark piece that kinda

haunts you after you read it.

I like it!

Nice work,

Thanks.
