The end of language
Your mouth is a beautiful mouth,
Its taste is the end of language:
The conclusion of conversation,
And, yet, it is also a velvet beginning;
When it brushes against my cheek,
I know that each delectable greeting
Is the most magnificent oration,
Worthy of a laureate writer;
The simplicity of the phrasing used
Always secures an indelicate ovation,
My hands twisting their congratulations
In your hair, as you descend stylishly;
So show me once again exactly why
Your mouth is a beautiful mouth.
