A heart completely broken, spirits shattered and all but dead
Raped and left for dead in a field, femininity torn to shreds
When the cold night gives no comfort and all you can do is cry
You may find yourself talking to the dead Montana sky

The twilight is ever stagnant in this kingdom without grace
Wind through wheat resembles tides in this kingdom without grace
Forgiveness and virtue are long forgotten, proven to be a lie
This is the hour I take my stand under the dead Montana sky

Depression follows denial, when grief gets left behind
Acceptance seems so far away, now karma is on my mind
I'm travelling at the speed of sound, away from here I'll fly
The stars shine bright with hate tonight under the dead Montana sky

And measurements will be undertaken to ensure revenge is mine
The grieving process will last forever, but no longer will I pine
For memories fade like sunset, as I wipe the last tear from my eye
Yet still I pray for God's protection under the dead Montana sky
