Click hereThe Eyes of Her Beloved

This pink-faced blushing bride
explodes with wonderment,
joyously embracing the mystery
unfolding in each moment.
The white lace and satin obscure
her hidden history:
forgotten pain,
broken promises,
and the gentle acceptance that
healed them all.
She steps forward with
grace and ease, gazing into
the eyes of her beloved.
Fearlessly, they plunge into
murky, unknown waters
and swim.
The poem was very well written and touching, an easily read and grasping poem. I just followed the finger point from new poems review <grinin'>
of this reader, I found your poem to be the beautiful reflection of trust found in his eyes by someone that has seen the ugliness of lies in others' before. You always seem to pen about the good in a relationship, Sander - and I much enjoy that aspect of your writing. Thank you for yet another look.
