Drip drip drip
Can you hear it?
My God I can not sleep
Like drums banging in my head
Drip drip drip bloop
It only gets worse
The more I toss
The more I turn
drip bloop drip drip
Ahhhh, pillow on my head
The muffled sounds
Are still sounds in my noggin
bloop drip drip bloop
I turned it off
Yet it stick mocks me
Laughing at my angst
drip drip bloop bloop
I trudge back to the sink
Wincing as I turn
Until the drip is no more
Too tired to care
I crawl back to bed
I smile as I drift away
drip...drip...drip...bloop

This is a cute poem. The dripping faucet routine has been done before, at least, in Television comedy. And I'm sure in some form of writing. Still, it's cute.
