The Hunger calls...
   The beast will strike
   she knows He'll call
   Here comes the Night

her body trembles
   He know the whys
   Soft hair cascades
   Tightly closed eyes

A smile, cruel
   Upon His lips
   Whispers her name
   Strums His fingertips

The Night sighs
   It knows It will feast
   Upon the fair maiden
   Who carries the beast

Parting the darkness
   With her shining light
   No fear in her eyes
   No will to fight

Down she falls
   Yes, bend her knee
   He stands above
   Waiting for her plea

she opens herself
   Giving in to the need
   A tempting dish
   He begins the feed

Taking of flesh
   The spirits soar
   He takes and wants
   she offers yet more

she denies Him nothing
   He takes it all
   The spirits soar
    Merge, rise and fall

Who is to say
   How this will end
   Or come the next Night
   Will He feed again?
