There is a yearning inside her heart;
To let down the walls, to be close
to someone, and to be touched on every
level by Him.
She yearns to be held at night in
a pair of strong arms,
to feel those arms around her in comfort and love.
She yearns to feel the beating
of His heart beneath her ear;
To have the right to lay her head on His chest
When nighttime rolls around.
She yearns for his shoulder to cry on when needed,
The same one she wants to taste and bite.
She yearns to feel His hands on her,loving her,
Comforting and disciplining.
She yearns to hold His hands when He feels low,
And help Him get back on His feet.
The yearning to share, to love, to give-
All burn deep in her being.
Knowing that she needs, and it’s ok.
Knowing that she is needed just as much.
Yearning to just BE.
She yearns to find the One she was meant to be for.
