The First Kiss
by Orblover
September, 2001

============================

Two bodies lean together
Lips meet, cautious peck
A moment passes
Mouths open
Tongues dance
Lips move
No push
No shove
No dominant
No submissive
Two souls sharing

The clock stops ticking
The music fades away
The universe stretches to infinity
Beginning at the point of contact
No urgency…
No clawing…
No pawing…

A gentle sweet hug
Two lovers, in a moment
Barriers down
Hearts open
Souls exposed

Yet, testing
Being sure
A break, a pause
Eyes open
Searching…
Wondering…

A stroke on an arm
A caress of a face
Eyes locked

Beginning to close
Two bodies lean together
Lips meet
