Slick as oil,
A delicious slippery ooze
Glides and gathers in my body,
Passed from pulse to pulse
Up light stairs of air.

Windows open in me
To warm winds,
Succulent bruises of pressure
Ripen in my flesh
Like a glistening touch.

My body holds its breath,
Listening to itself,
Lifting off.
