~ The Foolishness Of Youths ~

Long, cold and naked
The sudden blade of truth
I just kept on pretending
Knowing there was no use
Love had reached it's ending
Friendship had followed suit
Pride all but surrendered
But my pleas falling mute
We'd spoken of forever
With the foolishness of youths
