Her voice was soft and whispered gently, we promised words to love intently, the days to years we walked apart, not once was shared a joining heart.

I slept so lonely missing her, and seen her dreams through mine, I felt the only reason left, was waiting throughout time.

I toiled to learn what I could do, but nothing helped my pain, it dawned upon me once a day, never to refrain.

She'd never know just why it was, I gave rein within my soul; she'll never know just how long it took, for me to let her go.

Once in life I felt this way, I knew it as my whole, I cherished every thought that dwelt, and beckoned it too show.

As lonely days turned their page, I began to long in years, I learned to live without a love, I'd cherished all those years.

Walking through a midnight's moon, I heard the seashore ring; I tasted tears, and dropped my fears, of dying all alone.
I reminisced of sounds of her, remembering her hair so soft; I left a place in time where once, I thought my life was lost.

I traveled far, from sea to sea, and memories surely passed, but the depth of love that was for her, inside my heart was cast.

Through all the joy and laughter felt, something still was missing, I felt her love for something shared, was once believed worth kissing.

Her skin was soft as misting rain and I gently grasped her hand, everyday I'd think of her too relinquish all my pain.

I tended to a gardens beauty, to give it all her love, I watched as many came and went, to never know what was.

They touched its ground, and made their ways, through every little nook, never leaving, turning back, to take, a second look.

The roses wrought with beauty and the lilies laden pearls; I traced her eyes through every flower, seeing them in swirls.

The scents were all that I could bear, when wondering where she was, my love for her would never die, my only heartfelt world.

The sky could open up with sunshine falling bright, one day I might remember her, should she fall within my sight.

Time replaced the love I felt, when I found my something new, a love that was not shared in life; was something I must do.

Some say that how and when we love, is nothing we control, I wish for all of those who've felt, their first encounter missed, they learn to love within their self, before life leaves them missed.

Behold the walls that captured you, live life like you were this, and your maiden voyage upon that sea, where sailing is your bliss.

The sunsets gleaming shore to sea whenever you're alone, encountered lives the ones you love, becoming thoughts your home.

Sights of new beginnings and remembering how you're known, the seeds of how you rose above, become a lesson sewn.

Wander through your years without a second thought thereof, taking hold of all you reach, in seeking heart felt love.
