comedic stand-up delievery - it works, I see the pauses.
Looking at the words without reading them, it looks off, clipped, disjointed. This is funny Don. I prefer reading Dylan Thomas to hearing him. Poetry does not speak to me, I do not hear it as well as most others would. I read, I get visuals. In some cases, I get visuals of people speaking. I easily see you on a stage, speaking, with the pauses.
