Oh shining moon that brings no comfort tonight
How much longer must you taunt and tease?
To prey upon the fallings of your heart

bringing forth the doubtings to light
or even the eagerness to please
only to steal away the loving part

Deceiving is those within his insight
Tearing away the emotion of ease
Dear Vollmond from me did depart.

Be still my aching thoughts
For not mine his heart e'er was
Yet in change I dread there came a death
of one that I may never show love
