I just had a night
full of dreams and visions:
often what distinctly seemed like voices
talking to me

I was rushed through
one spectacular neon kaleidoscope
that was amazing and rather pleasant,
though not entirely

it was hard to tell
if I was asleep or awake
but probably mostly asleep

But then,
having woken up completely
taken a couple minutes
to assess where I was,

I became terrified
someone might get through my locked
door and kill me

Well, plain as day,
I heard the rustling of a key
and a naked blonde man walk in,
about thirty
(close-shaven with slightly longish hair parted on the side):
he was frowning but there
was something peaceful in his eyes;
paying me little mind
he walked into my bathroom

I got up to deal with the situation
in one way or another,
and looked into the bathroom
but saw only thin air

I triple locked my door
and after a few minutes,
somehow wasn't not that shaken

I'm not having withdrawl:
maybe it was all "flashbacks"
though it's been years since
I saw anything as a result of psychedelics

I can't remember any
of the things that were said last night:
I'm still, of course,
an atheist
(this happened say twenty minutes ago)

Naturally I think:
!!what now?!!
