The Hunger

Delectable tendrils of old copper fill My nostrils...

When the time is right...a second, a day, an eternity.

The sting of the bite is Exquisite, beyond Pleasure or Pain,

Beyond, that of mortal description.

The hollow tunnels accept a flood of sanguine fluid,

Leaving an interpolation of the vile...

The substance of Nightmares...

The essence of Death.

you will conform to the rules of eternity,

the rites of the Damned,

the ways of the Parasite...

your new addiction.

I seek you with fervor anew...

My senses tingle with the redolence of virgin life.

Sanguinary delights fill Me with a sense of urgency...

I must feed...you must Bleed...

A vampire poem...idk I feel like vampires in modern literature have a fairly high standard and this doesn't quite get to where it needs to be taken seriously.
