The Hunted

His breath catches in his throat,
The hunter is now the hunted,
It happened just offshore while in his boat,
The beast had leapt from the shore and grunted.

It was a beast make no mistake,
It had two head and four eyes,
And a feral look that couldn’t be fake,
And through its mouth now were fierce cries.

It raised a hand a shook it at him in rage,
He had no idea what he had done but soon enough his life may end,
The beast grabbed his shirt and lifted him up,
Its breath sticky and wreaking of something dead.

With no effort it through him back to the shore,
It leaped back upon him as it had just before,
His heart racing as the beast grabbed a foot and dragged,
No he would pay for all those animals he had bagged.

In a flash his body was bare and he was naked to the core,
He wished he could beg forgiveness for what he had done before,
The beast grabbed his head and turned it with ease,
Next time you think of killing something remember this please.

I will find you again if you make a mistake,
Next time I won’t just hunt you and let you go,
I will kill you and drain your blood Jake,
This was just a warning to let you know.
