The Keys
Blues belted from a pair of lungs,
The gin flowed on all the tongues
Of all the sirs and madams.
As the clock struck seven,
He thought he was in heaven,
When he spotted the great set of gams.
She acknowledged with a flip of her hair,
Putting his coat on the back of a chair
She came and sat on his leg.
Her smile did say,
She wanted to play,
And she wouldn't make him beg.
As if it were just them,
He moved his hand to the top of her hem
His lust made it hard to think.
She leaned into his ear,
Whispered for him to hear,
That she desperately longed for a drink.
Her name he still hadn't learned
With her hooch he returned,
Asking was the best way,
So when she perched back on his knee
He said "Tell your name unto me"
She replied simply with "May."
He said, "I must tell you my dear,"
As he tugged on her ear,
"You make me hunger for more."
She quivered and shook,
And stole a quick look
Longingly to the front door.
After a trip back to the bar
They left to go to the car
His desires for her were unbound
Needing to unlock it
He fumbled in his jacket
But the keys were not to be found.
Going back to the place
His steps he retraced,
He had no idea where they would be,
May simply smiled,
Tilted her head like a child,
And whispered, "Come with me."
Still wondering where they are
He watched her climb up on his car
It was more than he could believe.
With a twinkle in her eyes
She opened up her thighs
And said "Come and get your keys."
