Yvette, a friend,
Likes to attend
A class (it keeps her young) .
So last July
She thought she’d try
To learn another tongue.

They offered such
As French and Dutch
But, on the page above,
Her eyes soon scanned
A course they planned,
Entitled ‘Women’s Love’.

When we next met
I asked Yvette
To tell me how she found it.
Though not the worst,
She failed at first
To get her tongue around it.

But as the weeks
Have passed, she seeks
The students who are single.
It clearly pays
For now she says
She’s multi-(cunni) lingual.

Your poetry is fun.

I have to say

I like the way

your poetry is done.

It's so sublime,

your ev'ry rhyme

flows gently off my tongue.

But more than sight

and sound delight

this reader of your art.

Your work has got

a central plot,

a subject, theme and heart.

Thank you . :-D
