The Legend

Who is this mythical creature that has come to me?
Who is this angel that’s stabbed my heart with the forbidden arrow of
love.
How can I hope to survive this heavenly beast that has devoured my
very essence and made it her own?
Helpless I am to fight this creature that dances in a ring of fire
that has burned into my heart.
The fires of passion have melted our hearts and we have become one.
Like a beast with two backs that are driven by more than mere lust.
Driven by more than mere love, our hearts beating and bleeding
as one.
This union was foretold by the stars themselves and will be carried
on the fingertips of the wind across time and space.
This love story shall be told and retold by minstrels to the wide-eyed
children until it becomes Legend in the eyes of mankind.
      The trials and tribulations,
The triumphs and scarifies that we have endured shall become
the very definition of the word…..
                        …LOVE.
Shining through the bleak darkness as a beacon for others to follow
into….
                        … Bliss.
