The darkness dawns within my heart
Its as if someone's drawn a kind of morbid art.

Can't help but feel helpless and blue.
My mind, my body cries out for you

Oh how I wish I could see your beautiful face.
Maybe, just maybe it'd slow down my rapid pace.

With a tear stained face, I said goodbye to you
With a hopeful heart I prayed I'd never have to.

My heart beats at a steady rate
In the hope I’ve not been played by fate.

Love once so bold and so true
Will forever live within my heart for you

To love an to lose, is painful you see.
But if not for you, there wouldn’t be me

You gave me hope, taught me to dream
Now I’m ripped apart at the seam

With one last breath you showed me love
Now your there watching from above
