I believe the answer is inside us all
It is the things that pass us by everyday
The things we overlook in our rush to end our day.
It’s the smile on someone’s face
The lullaby when we drift off to sleep
The sunrise of a new day
The look of love in a person’s eyes.
The smell of a flower opening with dew
The touch from someone special
The laughter of a child at play
The tears of someone in pain.
The meaning of life is what we make it
The effort we exert to make someone’s day
The time we take to listen to the sounds around us
And the love we show when others need it most.
Make the most of each new day
And smile at the rising sun
Let everyone know how much you care
Because the meaning of life is to live.
