The Misty Path
What lies beyond the misty path what’s waiting at the end
Will I be let down one more time or will I find a friend
It always seems it’s such a gamble to walk that path alone
Ending up where it may take you near or far from home
If there’s a secret I do not know it still I walk without a care
Sometimes it ends in sheer disaster and I’m filled with despair
At times I have walked that path and have been quite surprised
The best time ended when I walked straight into your blue eyes
It seems as though that path has a purpose it’s not just there to walk
You may encounter your life’s desires or have a nice relaxing talk
The path is different for everyone depending on what you seek
The results can change each time you pass seven days a week
Be careful you don’t wear it out the magic someday will end
Walk it now wish for the best you may just find your friend
