the moon was pregnant
the night i arrived.

she helped pull me
from the womb and
with her tidal energy
i burst forth...
the moonbeams reflected
in my eys
a silver chalice.

and it seems like
ive been chasing you
ever since...
my spirit still seeking
the moon poem.

Steve-- the first two lines made the poem wonderful, the last two made it touching and the four lines together hugged in a wonderfully perfect poem. This is my favorite of yours yet. Can't believe I am just reading it. What happened to yesterday?

Only a man who understands woman

(god help him, lol) could write this delightful ode to femininity and the way it moves in the moon and all of us. :)
