my heart touches yours
so far away
knowing you so well
yet not at all

your sweetness soothes
lingering hurt
passion kissing my pain
softly stroking

master of seduction
skillful loving
I am afraid of you
yet drawn

stepping backward
I see us
terrifying closeness
I cannot run

lost in the pleasure
an aching joy
wanting all of you
needing you

longing for reality
ecstatic interludes
your hungry embrace
burns me

the moth and the flame
an eternal dance
your fire comsumes me
