The New Purpose (Icarus Rising)

It is time to rise again.
It is time to start anew
It is time to love again
It is time to live again

It is not time to dwell in the past
It is not time to bear homage to the bad memories
It is not time to harbor pain and regret
It is not time to hate

It is time to discard the pain and regret
It is time to say "What does is done"
It is time to know that one ending is anothers beginning
It is time to create chances and opportunities and act on them

No more welling on the past
I know now that I have for so long hindered myself
Never again, no one person should allow you to destroy yourself
It is time to rise again
Never again to become the Fallen Phoenix

The rising of my soul, spirit and being
To a more majestic plane of existence
My purpose is to live and love again
I wont forget the past but I wont let it rule me

The new purpose is one of reviving, cementing and consolidating
It is the rising of the Icarus back into the Heavens whence it belongs
That is where I belong and I will take my place
A day at time but I will.
