What ever it’s purpose
All it does is spread fear
It makes people afraid
It makes them forget
That the horrible things
Aren’t here yet
They focus largely
On violence and crime
Distorting the truth
Due to limited time
In 30 minutes
Weather news and sports
It can’t be done
Without misleading reports
If you focus on the bad
Disproportionately
You’ll make people think
That’s all there is to see
It’s not their fault
It’s just a bad plan
You shouldn’t rely so much
On a TV news stand
