As I lay awake with no intention to sleep
I fill my mind with forever soothing music
I roam in lost dream-like worlds
Where flesh no longer exists as your soul swirls.
Violins and pianos make lingering sounds
All gathered into one single harmony.
I think of my beloved blue eyes and feel his warm embrace
Though he is far away, his scent remains and fills my heart.
To feel within oneself the love of a man
Is to feel like a woman again, alive and awake
Powers yet never felt are unleashed
And feelings never yet experienced shower deep within.
Take your time dear one and let your soul roam
Take your time and feel your mind searching
Wander away to the ecstacy of delightful sounds
And head home on the wings of love...
As the night's music roams.
