The Offer

What I offered her in love,
she turned into a sword.
then used it to cut out my heart,
and dispatched me to the Lord.
The Lord, he sent me back to Earth,
to give her one more chance.
But for me, she had no love,
and like a puppet, made me dance.
Pulling strings to make me walk,
pulling those tied to my heart.
Then watching me writhe in pain,
like she meant to from the start.
I have now been driven away,
no more chances, this she lost.
And now she has a debt to pay,
she won’t believe the cost.
Then one day she will realize,
what it was that she’s now lost.
when it grips her heart in an evil way,
with fingers of lonely frost.
