Brick and mortar
       crumble in a
       kaleidescope of disrepair.
Skeletons of unused machines
       raise their robot arms
       in the dance of abandonment.
Death of viability
       screams out in a
       mournful monotone cry.
And the ghosts of
       displaced workers
wail in a dirge of futility.

Voracious greed...
       the pitiful seed
       of hopelessness and destruction.
