For The Only One

Denial?
more like the Nile

When I spit it’s no more than a River in Egypt
My truth is so sun like it cats no shadows

You’re my star in a thousand midnights
and when we’re apart I can’t shake your
image from the walls of my boundless imagination.

Wait that didn’t make sense
does any of this?

You’re the one I always heard about
soul mate
better half

The only one

for me.

(sigh)

Whomever she is, I hope she realizes she's very lucky.
