Cruelty at it’s worst
A love scorned
Pushed out
Door slammed in my face

But there is no door
Only a wall
Miles thick
If an inch

Poking holes
Futilely slaving away
Trying to find
The real you

Here you come
Not just mortar-
More bricks
To keep me out

I have a sledge
I will use it
But at the risk
Of what?

Do I slam it down?
Do I watch it crumble?
To find what
On the other side?
