The road ahead, it twists and turns.

I close my eyes.

White knuckles on the wheel.

This trip, it began in Jacksonville,

and ended in dissolution.

But there's someone here beside me

who soothes my mixed-up confusion.

I'm belted-in --

ready for what unfolds.

My journey is

devoid of dread.

Because I am

comforted by the love

of the passenger in my head.
