The Perfect Kiss
I want that one perfect kiss
At that one perfect moment
From that one perfect man.
It will start out as just a peck
There will be hesitation
But it will feel wrong to stop there.
It will move into a French kiss
One with a deep connection
But it won't last too long.
It will be long enough
Oh yes, just the right length of time
Time to leave a tingly sensation in the pit of my stomach.
But it won't be too short
Too short would be a disappointment
No it will be just short enough to leave me wanting more.
It will come at the end of that perfect date
We'll both know when that right moment is
And the kiss will just happen
The perfect man will know
He'll know about my perfect kiss
Because it will be his perfect kiss too
So he'll slowly pull away
Kiss my cheek
Say good night
And promise to call the next day
And my perfect man who gave me the perfect kiss after our perfect date...
Well he's perfect
So he'll call
And we'll make plans for another perfect day.
