Your perfume lingers
in the house that we share.

I can lift the sheets to my face,
and smell your signature scent.

Our house smells as though,
you've been dancing from room to room.

And I wonder if you even know,
that I can smell your sweetness from afar?

Is there something special about me,
that you recognize too?

Is there a certain dress,
that you love for me to wear?

If I knew so, I'd wear it everyday.

Is there a special way that I do my hair,
that makes you smile as I come in sight?

I love walking into our room,
and smelling a rush of your sweet scent.

I love the colour of your eyes,
as they look directly into mine.

I love your shimmering lips,
lined so diligently with gloss.

But most of all ... More than anything,
I love the way you smell.
