The Photo
A doorway in a dark room,
leading to a fenced walkway
with a gazebo at the end.
Nothing else can be seen.
As I look at this photo,
it is odd how a view so restrictive
can give me such a sense of freedom,
of limitless vistas
and an endless view.
I think, if I tried, I could fly.
