Night after night I whisper, "Stay with me."
Let our marriage be a mutual gravity

of souls, minds and bodies attracted to one another,
clinging surely and safely together.

We love here and now, so strong and whole, knowing too
and certain the grief that looms:

that time and space will some-
day rip us apart, a centrifugal force we cannot overcome.

Lovely phrasing

and delicate use of rhyme. Sad, but not sad, if that makes sense. Liked it quite a lot.
