has always been in me.
I have felt you often,
in dreams.
Even when I loved another -
or thought I did -
That promise of you
has always been there.
Deep in my heart.
I knew one day
I would find you.
I hoped I would be free
to see if the reality
was as wonderful
as the promise
has always
been.
