The Purple Pixie dances and you must watch her flight,
The Purple Pixie dances in the moonbeams of the night,
The Purple Pixie sings her song you cannot help but hear
The soft and pleasing melody she brings into your ear.

She’s happy in the water but happiest in the trees,
She’ll work her magick on you and may bring you to your knees.
The Purple Pixie laughs with joy she’ll fill your life with fun
But she knows just where to rest her head when the Summer days are done.

She appreciates the flowers that grow in every rainbow colour,
She gives her heart to her One and will never love another.
The Purple Pixie climbs her trees with light and sprightly grace,
She’ll settle there for hours on end with wood dust on her face.

If you see the Purple Pixie then do not shy away,
She’s small and she is friendly and she comes from what is Fey.
The Purple Pixie can’t be caught by any wanderer’s net,
You’ll see her and shall know at once that you are both well met.
