The Rain

The rain that's falling from the sky
Symbolizes the tears from my eye.
We're so very far apart
But you're alive and well within my heart.
Each rainfall means my tears for you
Unshed, yet there, when I am blue.
I cry within for your arms so dear
Wanting them to hold me near.
I cry within to hear your voice
To see your smile and rejoice.
So every time a raindrop falls
It's really a tear for wanting it all.
