there were razor wings
there was dark and stumbling
the humming was unbearable
the smell from them knocked us

our cabin near the edge
soon attacked with beauty
of enemy and bold
our fail was to gravity

I killed two as the others
watched the fire works
the attack was under way
we enjoy too much

it killed me,
maybe if we knew each other
we would make it out
of my dream
into a car in daylight
and cruise like teens
down to the flow
in the rift, and
flip kayaks for pleasure
