Click hereThere are times when I wonder why I was put on this earth
This life is all just a big struggle which is starting at birth
I have always thought there is a reason for each one of us
To be send into this world, even if it is just to cause a fuss
So that through this commotion people are forced to see
The way that the human race is and how it should be
We are a violent race and because of that all
I guess it takes force to get us to rise to the call
Yes, some are fighters and some are called lovers,
Each brings in their own and through that discovers
Something about themselves and about the world around
But so much blood has been spilled on hallow ground
So many evils have been done in the name of the lord
Many people slaughtered to please the one they support
It is not Christianity alone which has done wrong
Many a religion has caused pain, this history is long.
However, what is the explanation for me to be put here?
What may be the reason for me shedding a single tear?
How am I to help humankind to evolve out of the muck,
In which nearly every one of us so long has been stuck?
I am a questioner and have always asked all of those
Who are supposed to be our lead figures who arose
Out of the masses that we descripe as humanity
The bunch of being that are so close to insanity
Cause more then once it has show to us in this place
Great leaders often are in-sane and don't rule with grace
On this world where wars have torn out our heart
Please give me a sign what may be my part.
So if you can help me please let me know
Or even better please come and do show
The raison d'être for all for the pain
The reason I'm forced to play this game.
the same reason there is night and day, sun and moon, winter and summer, hot and cold... one can not exist without its counterpart... ying yang in everything... name any one thing and there is an opposite. (~_~) I very much enjoyed your poem.
but while we all agree to disagree... the answer may remain a mystery.
Tough questions - assuming there's someone out there able & willing to answer...
