One moment
You’re alone
-- just you with yourself
And then comes the multitude
Of sins uncommitted
‘cause you never had the courage
Of desires unfulfilled
‘cause you’re half the man
Of masturbatory fantasies
‘cause the real wasn’t the ideal

With these thorns crowned
Weighed down with the cross
Of existence
You feed upon your sanity
Wishing
Hoping for a Magdalene
On whose shoulders
You can lay your head
Cry
-- and confess
The crime of being human

Poetic Blasphemy?

Blasphemous Poetry? Literary sacrilege? Satanic Verse? Heretical harangue?

Whatever it is, it touches the heart, strikes chords deep in the soul. Bravo!

I am

He once said to me "I am that Man."

Let me be his Magdalene. Enrich his sins in me.

Can't be too highly rated . . .

Couldn't agree more with the other comments. The words reach out and touch the heart. Read it again and again, and copied it down to my system, emailed it to friends. So compelling.

Nice. Very nice.

I love this intricate weave of warm and spicy words. Wery well done.
