What have you done?

you came into the silence that was me
and filled it with your noise
  pulling out my dry roots
  breaking my weak bones
  burning my numb nerves
  tearing my grey skin
showing me what a travesty I have always been
  for thinking
that the silence that was me would ever be enough
you sang into my empty heart
you danced into my empty rooms
  opening windows
  letting in air
  cleaning out dust
laughing at the pathetic silence that was me
  fucking
  my tired body
  my limp cock
  my stupid head
  my pale mind
  my lost soul
and letting me know that I
  have always been
  shallow
  hollow
  thin
  cold
  numb
  dark
  dead
and the silence that was me is forever ruined

Thank you.
